Bruce Pascoe is an Australian Indigenous writer, publisher and anthropologist from the Bunurong clan of the Kulin nation. He has written nearly thirty books, including for children and anthropological non-fiction. In 1982, he founded Pascoe Publishing with his wife Lyn Harwood, which published the quarterly literary journal Australian Short Stories (1982 - 2000) as well as novels and anthologies of other authors.
His work has won or been shortlisted for over a dozen prizes, including 2016 NSW Premier's Literary Awards Book of the Year for Dark Emu (2014). Pascoe has also been awarded several accolades for his work, receiving in 2018 the Australia Council Award for Lifetime Achievement in Literature. He was also the 2018 Dreamtime Person of the Year at the National Dreamtime Awards.
Pascoe Publishing published authors including Patrick White (Three Uneasy Pieces, 1987), Frank Hardy (The Loser Now Will Be Later to Win, 1985), Lyn Hughes (The Factory, 1990) as well as anthologies, including Women of the Centre (1990).

Scope and Content
A collection of literary papers of Bruce Pascoe and from Pascoe Publishing Company. Most material dates 1983-1990, with some dated c.1991-2 or to the 1970s. The majority of the collection consists of typewritten manuscripts by various authors for publication by Pascoe Publishing, including for the serial Australian Short Stories (1982-2000) and novels including The Multitude of Tigers (1990), Crims in Gras Castles (1989), Christmas Trees in the Sky (1991), and anthologies including Three Uneasy Pieces (1987), Women of the Centre (1990).
The collection also includes correspondence, both to and from Pascoe Publishing and to and from Bruce Pascoe.
