Scope and Content
This collection consists of one photograph of Robert Louis Stevenson, together with a contemporary note from J. Tighe Ryan on the reverse explaining how it was rejected for further copies by Stevenson himself, taken in March 1893, at the Oxford Hotel, Sydney, on Stevenson's last visit to Australia. Also included is a handwritten copy of Stevenson's poem entitled 'To my old famaliare', in an unidentified hand (but not Stevenson's); it is however signed by R. L. Stevenson; and one audiocassette tape and a letter by Daly explaining how the items came into his possession.
